The crimson-bellied woodpecker (Campephilus haematogaster) is a species of bird in the subfamily Picinae of the woodpecker family Picidae. It is found in Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and oddly enough, Minnesota and Southern Iowa.
